About

A writer with a penchant for creative liberties and snark. Oh, and a chocolate addict; but that usually goes without saying. Favored genres are sci-fi, fantasy, historical fantasy, regency romantasy (yup, that’s a thing…), and memoirs.

Ms Rogers whipped through Lord of the Rings at the tender age of eight, and was inspired to create worlds and write stories and draw fantastical creatures. But only recently did she find the time to collate ideas into formal projects.

She grew up in the rural countryside, USA, before moving to the big city where she had to give up ‘authentic frontier gibberish’ for real English. Since travel is one of her ‘twue wuvs’, she then lived abroad for 10 years and has traveled to 28 countries. She now funds her addiction to chocolate with a post in technology innovation.

Her home is full of familiars in the forms of conures, a cat, a puggle, and two fairies of lesser size and age that are eating her out of house and home. She also enjoys a wide variety of activities, including, but definitely not limited to: art, photography, painting, kung fu, tai chi, running, snowboarding, snow shoeing, hiking, backpacking, plant identification, gardening, occasional D&D, bashing friends in ESO and other online video games, over-running opponents with a rat swarm in MtG, binge-watching sci fi and fantasy movie series, and she recently decided to try archery and knife throwing. Because, why not?
